Mermaidtale productions was created by a group of four 3rd year students at St Mary's University in order to make the short film Rainbow Corner. Rainbow Corner is due to have its first screening at the British Film Institute, Stephen Street, on the 16th June 2017.

Shannon studied Media when Rainbow Corner was selected to be made. Shannon took on a great responsibility and is enjoying the challenge of editing the film and seeing all of her work come together

Xanthe was a theatre student when the Rainbow Corner Project was created. she joined the production team as our props and set designer, her wealth of knowledge made for an accurate representation of the 1940s

Yasmin studied Creative and Professional Writing and Drama when she wrote the Rainbow Corner Script. Rainbow is her first script to be made into a film and so is very excited to be directing the film in order to bring her vision to life.
